Monday July 13 – Love is Blind

Dating website has teamed up with the Royal London Society for the Blind as part of the month-long ‘London Without Limits’ festival to highlight the realities of living with blindness. Wearing blindfolds, ten Match members will team up with partially-sighted and blind singles, and learn salsa together. Minster Exchange, 7pm. From £12.

Tuesday July 14

Original Dating – Stereo Speed Dating

If the way to your heart is with a mix-tape, this could be the perfect night for you. Spend four minutes discussing the music you love, and if the conversation dries up, you can always reach for your iPod. Nordic, Oxford Circus, 7pm. £21.

Friday July 17

28 Gays Later – Speed Dating

Not only is it the best name for a singles event ever, but 28 Gays Later also does exactly what it says on the tin. Meet 27 other gay men, in a format which means you don’t just meet half the room. Attendees will receive messages before they leave the event, and everyone gets a goody bag. The Mercer, 7pm. £25.

 Friday July 17

PlayDate London – Playtime

Embrace your inner child with Twister, toys, retro sweets, Connect 4 and a sand pit. What better way to meet someone new than with his/her crotch in your face? Love Die Late. 6.30pm. From £15.

Tuesday July 21

Original Dating – Literary Speed Dating

Speed dating with added smarts! Avoid the normal awkward questions by spending four minutes discussing your favourite books. Nordic, Oxford Circus, 7pm. £21.

 Tuesday July 21

SpeedDater – Wine Tasting

Whether you know your chablis from your shiraz, or you confuse merlot with malbec, all are welcome at this event. You’ll sample six different wines, while a wine expert tells you more about what you’re drinking. Oh, and you’ll also meet some other single wine fans while you’re at it. Vivat Bacchus, Farringdon. 7pm. £29.95.
