Six FREE things to do in London this week

By Time Out London Things To Do

Put your money away! Here are the week’s best free events.

Lock Tavern Festival

Sack off the egg hunt and spend Easter in a Camden boozer, as the Lock Tavern hosts four fun days and nights of live music and DJs. Included in the line-up are Skinny Girl Diet and Rats On Rafts, plus street food and craft beer. 35 Chalk Farm Rd. Chalk Farm. Thu Mar 24-Sun Mar 27.

David Shrigley: Drawings and Paintings

The scribbler of all things witty and absurd – and the man who bedecked the walls of Sketch’s perfectly pink Gallery restaurant – will show a series of large- scale works. They’re brightly coloured and full of references to ’60s pop art but still filled with his trademark acerbic humour. Stephen Friedman Gallery, 11 Old Burlington St. Oxford Circus. Until Thu Mar 31.

Things to do

Trellick Tales

The brutalist silhouette of the Trellick Tower is an iconic part of the London skyline. This new exhibition shares the stories of those who have lived – and still live – there, while an interactive theatre show will run outside the building. Golborne Rd. Westbourne Park. Sat Mar 26, 2pm

One last time: 'Eegah' 16mm presentation

Cigarette Burns Cinema returns to its birthplace, The Mucky Pup pub, for one last time, screening ‘Eegah’ – arguably the worst B-movie ever made. A low-rent story of the search for a giant caveman in the Californian desert, it promises an evening of very silly fun. 39 Queen's Head St. Essex Rd. Tue Mar 22, 7pm.
