Street Feast is launching a new site in Canary Wharf called Giant Robot

Street Feast is launching a new site in Canary Wharf called Giant Robot

A honking great cyborg is on its way to Canary Wharf. But fear not, this isn’t just another clunky CGI apocalypse. Rather, Giant Robot is the (frankly head-scratching) name for a new, seven-days-a-week foodie arena opening next Wednesday on the rooftop of Crossrail Place, all courtesy of moveable street food masters Street Feast. The line-up is suitably impressive – think regular Street Feast traders like Yum Bun and BOB’s Lobster, a chicken shop offshoot of wing kings BBQ Lab and, most promising of all, a teeny-tiny new tapas and sherry bar from London’s favourite Spanish son José Pizarro, called Little José. Thirsty? There’ll also be a 360° central Island Bar for cocktails and craft beers – 38 taps full of ’em. All the more dizzying after a few laps of the wraparound terrace. Make no mistake: we more than welcome our new robotic overlords.

Find more great London street food. Giant Robot opens on Wednesday 12 April at Crossrail Place, Canary Wharf, WR2 4QS.

Nice open space, only opened last week.

Came here for bank holiday food and drink.

We were greeted with a smile, but went for a drink tequila limonade at the bar, only to be told they had run out of tequila! Ridiculous, as it is only 5pm, we were told to come back in ten minutes when they get some more.

After this we proceeded to thunderbirds to try their wings, extremely rude service and told they currently aren't serving and to come back at a later date! It's 5 pm on a Monday and you have no wings! Wth!!

So from first ten mins of being here I can't get any food or any drink I want!

I know you have only just opened, but please sort it out!!

You will no way cope with all the Canary Wharf workers next week!!

How disappointing: Nothing but a Canary Wharf sanitised version of Street Food.....Market price for a Lobster Roll today in a cardboard box £18.00 ....No doubt some wealthy hedge fund manager will lap it up !
