Dunkirk is the ultimate story of victory in defeat, of an embattled nation coming together to save their troops from total disaster. This mighty tale of World War 2 heroism been filmed before – but Christopher Nolan's upcoming drama looks bigger, bolder and more packed with loud bangs than ever before, judging from this first trailer. Cillian Murphy and that nice young man Harry Styles are among the plucky British lads trapped on the beach by invading German forces, waiting for ships from across the Channel to come and rescue them, while Tom plays a courageous fighter pilot. It could be a vehicle for slushy patriotic sentiment - but this is 'Dark Knight' and 'Inception' director Nolan, so expect things to be played ice-cool and collected.
