Swift
Taking over the site of Soho’s famous LAB Bar, Swift comes to you from two power couples on the London drinks scene, husband-and-wife Bobby Hiddleston and Mia Johansson (formerly of Milk & Honey and Dead Rabbit in NYC) and Nightjar and Oriole owners Rosie Stimpson and Edmund Weil (also husband and wife, aw). Upstairs is a menu of aperitifs and bar snacks while downstairs gets serious with imaginative originals. If you stop by for a drink, chances are it won’t be a swift one at all.

The cocktail whizz behind 69 Colebrooke Row and Bar Termini, Tony Conigliaro is launching a third venue on Kingsland Road. It’s set to double as a space for art installations and have silver walls inspired by Andy Warhol’s Silver Factory. But it’s the menu of 12 original drinks we’re keen to eye up (and then drink up), likely to be works of art in their very own way.
