Forget about those guys holding signs in Camden Market. London's punk legacy is about much more than safety pins, mohicans and two-quid selfies. It's 40 years since punk first exploded in this city, bondage trousers became the height of fashion and attitude knocked learning how to play an instrument off the top of any aspiring musician's to-do list. Launching this week and taking place across town throughout 2016, Punk London is a major series celebrating London's status as the international capital of punk (sorry, NYC). We mean it, maaaaaan.
