Like the characters in this new trailer, Quentin Tarantino's second spaghetti western 'The Hateful Eight' has had a rocky ride. Written a few years back, the script was dumped by its author in a fit of pique when the entire manuscript leaked online. Luckily for us he had second thoughts, and now the film is almost here, featuring a rugged cast of growling ne'er-do-wells including Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Bruce Dern and Tarantino regulars Samuel L Jackson and Tim Roth. The plot's so old-school John Wayne would've jumped at it, and concerns a wanted criminal (Leigh) on the way to the gallows courtesy of bounty hunter Russell, when a snowstorm maroons them both in a remote town stuffed with killers and crooks. Expect gunfire, grimacing and plenty of snappy Quentin-esque chit-chat.
