If you haven’t had a chance to try these delicious, squidgy little balls of rice dough yet, then you’ve done the smart thing by waiting, because the High Street Kensington branch of Whole Foods is giving away a Little Moons mochi ball to each of its first 7,000 customers on Tuesday to celebrate its ten-year anniversary. That's 7,000 FREE little mochi balls for your enjoyment, so turn up early and we reckon your odds of nabbing one are pretty good.

These aren’t just any ordinary rice balls, though. Recently we brought you the news that this Whole Foods store opened its very own ice cream mochi bar, and with flavours like matcha, mango and salted caramel you’re guaranteed a yummy, summery treat.

All you have to do is abandon your plans on Tuesday June 6 and head over to the store. On your way in you’ll be given a scratch card where you could also be in with a chance of winning £500 of Whole Foods grocery shopping, ten grocery gift cards worth £50 and 250 Hurraw! lip balms. And all that healthy food shopping is thirsty work, so Whole Foods will be laying on free Pukka Tea on June 6 and free Allegro coffee from Wednesday June 7-Sunday June 11. Bring on the next ten years we say.

Whole Foods Kensington is at 63-97 Kensington High St, W8 5SE.

Can’t get enough of dessert? A unicorn freakshake has arrived in London.
