Contemporary Fiction Research Seminar

A recurring lecture series that explores a diverse selection of contemporary work, from comics to TV, film and literature. This session, Dr. Anna Hartnell from Birkbeck College talks about her forthcoming book, 'Rewriting Exodus: American Futures from Du Bois to Obama', which traces lineages of the African-American liberation struggle, taking into account the election of Barack Obama and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
