Disco revival? You better believe it. Opinion may be divided about Daft Punk's new album, but they've certainly renewed interest in an oft-overlooked genre, and for that we should be grateful. This very fun-looking party takes a delightfully wonky and eccentric approach to the whole thing, with super-funky space-disco DFA heavyweight Ray Mang leading the charge, and an array of other producers – including Ruf Dug, Pete Armitage and Fred Pritchard – supporting with house, techno, funk, and maybe even a bit of disco. For a further flavour of the night, here are a few of the things the promoters claim you can expect: "Muted sexual desire ... Retired Yorkshire race dogs ... Schizoid birds of prey". That ticks Time Out's three most important boxes, so we'll see you down the front.
