London's best grime nights

This east London basement has seen unannounced cameos from the likes of Skepta, Meridian Dan and A$AP Rocky.

Filling big venues across the UK, Wiley and his band of merry mandem (and gyaldem) have been putting on this night since grime was big the first time. Despite being the most ostensibly commercial night of the lot, you can still expect to not have much of a clue when or if anyone on the bill will pitch up. 

This great Peckham grime night regularly stars Murkage Dave, who founded Mancunian arts and grime collective Murkage. The last one also pulled in Lewisham crew The Square.

Mike Skinner and Murkage Dave (yep, him again) take over The Waiting Room once a month and put on a brilliant night of rap, trap and grime. The line-up is a closely guarded secret but past performers have included Kano, Big Narstie and Giggs (not Ryan).
