Time Out says

Those energy-chugging dance music warriors, the Red Bull Music Academy, are back at Carnival for the sixth time, and quelle surprise, they've brought with them a stonking crew of bass hungry DJs and bands to end a head-spinning weekend of partying. One of Carnival's undisputed kings, reggae selector extraordinaire David Rodigan, brings his Ram Jam party to Notting Hill, featuring a live show from the Marley Brothers – yep, sons Damian, Stephen and Julian, offsprings of Bob – as a full reggae band. Further Jamaican vibes come from Wayne Marshall, Christopher Ellis and Black I am in the Ram Jam party, while on a separate bass and house tip there's plenty of prime action with a DJ set from new UK house giants Disclosure, a garage showdown with MJ Cole going B2B with Wookie, brilliant house and grime innovator T. Williams, future garage dude xxxy, and rising DJ Eclair Fifi going B2B with ace producer Nightwave. Absolutely no rest for the wicked here, it's a dedicated Bank Holiday dance-through. Tickets for this inspired mash-up are free, but available only through a ballot at www.redbull.co.uk/carnival. Entry opens 10am on Monday 12 August and closes 5pm Friday 16 August, so get clicking when the entry date rolls round.
