A big ol' benefit gig for Scope tonight at the glitzy Apollo. Unfortunately Tim Minchin has had to cancel his appearance due to filming commitments in the US, but headlining are Ben Elton (making a rare stand-up appearance) and Al Murray the Pub Landlord. Plus rapper-turned-comic Doc Brown, middle-class hero Hal Cruttenden, huge Scope supporter Richard Herring, erudite wonder Robin Ince, one-liner legend Milton Jones, Francesca Martinez, Sally Phillips and Paul Tonkinson. All in all, a mighty impressive bill.
