Time Out says

‘The Fitzrovia Radio Hour’ is a stylish parody of a 1940s-style radio show that outstays its welcome.

Over 85 long minutes, the pencil-moustached or pencil-skirted actors seem to have had fun performing live ads for Rathbone’s chemical cures and slicing cabbages for sound-effects in the serial melodramas, but the same can’t be said for the audience.

There’s talent here (Alix Dunmore does miraculously authentic RP and more). But a slender, charming concept has been over-expanded, with torpid results: often, I could have used a bit of Rathbone’s miracle snuff to perk me up.
