Ballet Black: Pioneers

The veteran Black and Asian dance company comes to Stratford East theatre with this double bill, which features a reprise of Will Tucket’s 2020 piece ‘Then or Now’, which combines classic music and ballet with the poetry of Adrienne Rich, and Mthuthuzeli November’s ‘Nina: By Whatever Means’, which combines dance, jazz and blues to offer up a tribute to the incomparable Nina Simone.
