Dutch National Ballet

A celebration of eminent choreographer Hans van Manen, who began creating work in the 1950s and has more than 120 ballets to his name. A former artistic director of Nederlands Dans Theater, van Manen has been resident choreographer at Dutch National Ballet since 2003, where his brand of sophisticated, music-driven modern ballet continues to hit the spot. The company will perform a greatest hits programme of 'Adagio Hammerklavier', 'Concertante' and 'Grosse Fuge', with music by Beethoven and Frank Martin played live.
