Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: Nefés

A major season of works by pioneering choreographer Pina Bausch. Part of the Cultural Olympiad, the Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch: World Cities 2012 season will see ten works performed over one month, each produced during a residency in a different city in the world between the years 1986 and 2009 – the year of Bausch's death. 'Nefés', from 2003, was made in Istanbul, a city Bausch fell in love with – as a result creating a work that's warmer, lighter and more joyful than much of her oeuvre.
