Picturehouse cinemas across London are expanding their programme beyond the blockbusters to screen a season of pre-recorded and live ballet, opera and theatre. Dance highlights include the UK premiere of Anne Bass' doc about teen dance star Sokvannara Sar, 'Dancing Across Border's (Jul 30); a restoration of Rudolf Nureyev and Margot Fonteyn's 1966 performance in 'Swan Lake' (Aug 1); and Rainer Hoffman's film about the making of Pina Bausch's dance hall drama 'Kontakthof', 'Dancing Dreams' (Aug 4).
