BRITISH SUMMER TIME: Bon Jovi
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that events are still happening.
A new summer festival in Hyde Park, now that Wireless and Hard Rock Calling have moved over to the former Olympic Park. The first band to be announced for the Barclaycard-sponsored event are stadium-filling, hands-aloft rock monsters Bon Jovi, led by the ever-feathered-of-hair Jon Bon. They've got a new album to promote – the fairly vapid 'What About Now' (read our review) – but there should be plenty of classic material too.
Support Bon Jovi on the main stage will be more ballsy rock from mid-noughties indie heroes Kaiser Chiefs and London alt.rockers Bush, while other stages feature sets from The Futureheads, Rival Sons and more.
