Critics have been raving about this witty, star-studded action comedy from the writer-director of ‘Iron Man 3’ since it premiered last week at the Cannes Film Festival – Time Out’s own 5-star review called it ‘hilarious’ and ‘perfect’. Ryan Gosling stars as a down at-heel private detective in 1970s LA, who teams up with Russell Crowe’s tough-nut enforcer to solve the mystery of a suicidal porn star. Shane Black basically invented the buddy-buddy action formula in the 80s with his script for ‘Lethal Weapon’, and ‘The Nice Guys’ proves he hasn’t lost his touch: imagine a cross between ‘Boogie Nights’ and ‘Chinatown’ and you’re half way there. ‘The Nice Guys’ is released on Friday June 3.
There will be two exclusive screenings taking place on Thursday June 2 at Vue Piccadilly, at 6pm for a 6.30 start and 8pm for an 8:30 start. All you need to book your tickets is your unique 4 digit card code.
