Take a trip out of town to Watford to experience this Hindu festival (the largest of its kind outside India), that celebrates Krishna's birthday by decorating a herd of sacred cows for the occasion. Children will also have their faces painted blue, and families can walk through the spiritual gardens and woodland to learn about the life of Lord Krishna and see the deity decorated with thousands of flowers, as well as enjoy music and dance shows on stage. The manor was donated by The Beatles' George Harrison in 1973 and is regarded as a famous place of pilgrimage.
