Time Out says

Each year, Mexicans celebrate children and the qualities they embody: innocence, imagination and light-heartedness. It's an idealised list but the V&A Museum of Childhood is getting behind the idea by mirroring the Latin tradition with its own Children's Day. Mexican-themed activities include face-painting, storytelling, traditional dancing, craft workshops (including piñata making) and an introduction to Mexico's most famous toy: the balero (a wooden cup with a handle and a small ball attached to the cup by a string). Mexican restaurant Wahaca will also be offering each child a voucher to a free meal from its kids' menu.
