Creative activities and workshops will be available to keep little visitors busy all summer at the V&A, with the usual backpacks and trails supplemented by special holiday events. There are free drop-in drawing sessions in the new summer garden installation (Mon-Fri and Sun Aug 30), pop-up interactive performances on selected Saturdays (11am, 1pm, 3pm) and drop-in architectural drawing workshops on selected Sundays (10.30am-5pm). The V&A's ceramics artist-in-residence Amy Jayne Hughes will lead pinch pot workshops on Wednesdays (£7.50 per child; 10.30am-12.30pm, 2.30pm-4.30pm), with designs inspired by patterns and textures in the collection.
