Amphion Quartet

The Amphion Consort on period instruments plays two masterpieces of the classical string quartet repertoire: Mozart's astonishing 'Dissonanace' from the group of six quartets he dedicated to Haydn, plus Haydn's deeply moving quartet in F minor, Op 20. Yair Avidor (period guitar) joins in for Boccherini's riveting Fandango Quintet with its strong flavour of Spanish folk music.
