The London limb of this new underground music festival (also taking place in Berlin and Glasgow) kicks off with a powerful headline set from ear-bashing German noise-art guitarist Caspar Brötzmann (son of saxophonist Peter), who makes a dramatic return after a 14-year break with his uber-thrash rock trio Massaker. Maverick multi-instrumentalist Johansson, double bassist/electronics man Dafeldecker and esoteric trumpeter Dörner also appear.
