The eloquent, sweet-voiced McAlmont – possessed of a soaring falsetto best shown in his work as half of the wonderful Thieves – has made acoustic jazz standards, showtunes and the odd pop song, as well as trying his hand at more conventional alt.rock tuneage, but tonight performs with latest partner Davies to showcase tracks from their new EP 'Smokehouse' under alias Fingersnap.
