Dirty Beaches

Alex Zhang Hungtai, who performs under the name Dirty Beaches, brings his band to London to perform his mesmerising electronic compositions. On his first full-length album 'Badlands' (2011) he showed a fondness for scratchy, hauntological reworkings of '50s and '60s sounds, but he's about to release a double album, 'Drifters/Love Is The Devil', that sounds like it might push things onto a new, more abstracted level.
