The first sound:check session takes place tonight to raise money for ChildHope, a charity working to prevent child abuse and exploitation in Africa. The excellent Zimbabwe-born vocalist and composer Eska headlines. She's worked with Nitin Sawhney and Tony Allen, and delivers a dramatic set of innovative folk-soaked and sometimes Afrobeat-underpinned soul. The 15-strong, all-female OneTaste Choir open.
