Youthful hipster sounds – think the kind of thing Jamie XX listens to in his bedroom studio – from low-slung house, juke and skwee to future garage, post-dubstep hip hop and other dubby treats at this brand new basement club tonight. Tough Lough Records’s label party and cutting edge party/label collective GetMe! team up to present the debut live show from bedroom producer Slime who, along with similarly young and hip pastoral electronicists like Halls and Deptford Goth, is stirring the loins of hipsters from Camberwell to Clapton. GetMe!’s usual low end beats drive the rest of the party, with guest DJ Micachu, who is currently the best beat-mangling she-DJ in the capital, and resident Lixo spinning the tunes.
