Grungey, lo-fi garage-poppers Giant Drag are back! Well, sort of. They're touring to say farewell before they split. Oh, and to promote their new (second) album 'Waking Up is Hard to Do', which they released earlier this year. The duo put out their debut LP 'Hearts and Unicorns' back in 2005, which was a ball of humorous lyrics, heavily reverbed riffs and uncluttered drumming. Frontwoman Annie Hardy even took to meowing out the end of their first single 'Kevin is Gay'. Eight years on and they're still putting out tunes of a similar calibre, but a little less grungey these days.
