Scorpions, Ozzy Osbourne, Slipknot, Judas Priest, Rob Zombie, Volbeat, Whitesnake, Korn, Journey, Foreigner, Disturbed. Western Europe is spoilt for choice when it comes to metal festivals this year, but the line-ups read pretty much the same, so it doesn't really matter which one you go to because you're likely to still see the legendary former wildman of heavy metal Osbourne, titans of British heavy metal JP and big rock riffage from the Metallica-adoring Volbeat. Graspoop has, however, pinned down Des Moines, Iowa's comical, mask-wearing nu-metal nine-piece Slipknot, whose only other festivals this side of the pond are Sonisphere and Download.
