Imperial Teen

Imperial Teen are from San Francisco, and make experimental, synth-laced indie pop group with a queer perspective. They have plenty of American alt rock cred – they followed up their debut album 'Seasick' (1996) by touring with Hole, and have also played with The Breeders – but they've never broken the mainstream, despite knowing their way around a pop melody better than most of their peers. Yo La Tengo fans will approve.
