Kessler Viols

Ashley Solomon directs the RCM Viol Consort in JS Bach's Cantata BWV 106: 'Actus Tragicus'; and 'Brandenburg Concerto No 6 in B flat, BWV1051. (The first chance to hear the sixteenth and seventeenth-century English viols acquired last year by the RCM Museum, which are named the 'Kessler Viols' after the famous collector, maker and restorer Dietrich Kessler.)
