Mark Fry with Nick Franglen/Grasshopper/Guto Pryce/Nick Palmer/Martin Smith

Brilliantly wayward one-off, which sees the live recreation of Fry's cultish, acid/psych-folk obscurity from 1972, 'Dreaming with Alice', plus cuts from last year's well-received 'I Lived in Trees'. The former record was recorded in Italy by the then 19-year-old art student and has been bootlegged within an inch of its fabled life, so this is a great chance to hear it. Joining vocalist/guitarist Fry are Lemon jelly man (and MD) Franglen on guitar/keyboards, Mercury Rev's Grasshopper on mandolin, Super Furry Animal Pryce on bass and Tunng's Smith on percussion.
