Composer Christian Mason and conductor Jonathan Hargreaves present the debut concert of The Octandre Ensemble, revealing the ethereal dream-world of Kaija Saariaho's 'Grammaire des Rêves', the rich inner life of Giacinto Scelsi's prayerful 'Pranam II', and the quasi-spatial circular functions of Sinan Savaskan's 'Anthedonia', beside the raw visceral energy of Edgard Varèse's modern classic 'Octandre'.
