Music from British Films

The composers Christopher Gunning and Nigel Hess conduct The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in a programme of film music by Richard Addinsell, William Alwyn, Richard Rodney Bennett, Arthur Bliss, Benjamin Britten, Vaughan Williams and William Walton alongside their own scores. (Hess has composed the soundtrack to 'Ladies in Lavender' and Gunning, 'Agatha Christie’s Poirot'.)
