Evan Parker's avant jazz fest continues here with a rare club appearance by ECM veteran Winstone. One of the UK's leading vocalists, she's a subtle, contemporary performer who treats the standards with a rare musicality. In keeping with the festival's German theme, Winstone explores the music of Kurt Weill with delicate backing from pianist Iles and acclaimed saxophonist Lockheart.
