Time Out says

Drawing on the pioneering spirit of the Great Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park, a new series of experimental and innovative concerts, using multi-media and cross arts collaboration, is devised and presented by RCM students. At 1.05pm, Great Exhibitionists I: Music, Have your say: RCM Composer William Dougherty asks the audience to vote on how a composition unfolds. The performance is streamed live to a worldwide audience. To take part go to www.rcm.ac.uk/live or join us at the RCM on the day. Don't forget to bring along your laptop. Then, at 6pm, Great Exhibitionists II: Free Ensemble and Plumbing Percussion. Devised by Tim Yates, the Free Ensemble plays a wide range of sound sources, from traditional concert instruments through to everyday objects. Performing alongside them, percussionist Rebecca McChrystal presents student compositions on her own percussion invention, made from plumbing parts. (Note: at midday-1pm and 5pm-6pm on Outer Hall Balcony – Alex Wilson's installation 'The Detuned Piano' can be heard with performances of the seminal minimalist work 'The Well Tuned Piano' by La Monte Young.)
