Two-day surfing and skateboarding showcase – plus a bikini competition for all unreconstructed male beachbums – with a pretty decent line-up of pop, hip-hop and rock on the cliff overlooking Watergate Bay that includes Brighton's big beat party starter Norman Cook under his FS alias, the torchbearers of nu rave Klaxons and London youngsters BBC plying their hybrid of choppy pop, gloomy drama and harmonious punk.
