Remembering Oscar Peterson: James Pearson/Dave Newton

Supremely talented pianist, best known for his sterling work as Ronnie Scott's resident pianoman, here pays tribute to the late great Canadian pianist, and his main influence, Oscar Peterson. The unusual presentation of his 'Canadian Suite', will see Pearson joined by fine Scots pianist Newton both facing each other on two opposing grand pianos, for a dazzling 20-fingered rendition of this rarely performed jazz suite.
