Listen to some sea shanties the way they’re meant to be heard ‚Ä쬆afloat. A Polish cultural group have chartered the Dutch Master cruise ship, and booked a whole load of shanty-singers – Polish band The Sea Horses alongside folk musicians from Oxford and Portsmouth – for an unusual and potentially fascinating water-bound gig. The aim is to introduce more people to Polish sea shanties in a cultural exchange with the British music tradition. It's a four hour trip, from Tower Millennium Pier to the London Barrier.
