The extraordinary scope of the chamber music by Hungarian composer György Kurtág, and the breadth of composers who have influenced his work, from the fourteenth to the twentieth centuries is explored by composer Julian Philips. Participants explore this rich repertoire with contributions from distinguished musicologists and postgraduate chamber musicians from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
