The Candlelight Club

A dazzling, clandestine pop-up cocktail bar with a 1920s speakeasy flavour in a secret den lit entirely by candles, from the people that bring you The New Sheridan Club. Each event has a different cocktail menu each time and admission includes a light supper of exotic sandwiches. That's not the only thing that's sparkling: they'll be live music, period shellac spun by the DJs, guest cabaret acts and monthly themes (tonight: in honour of famous Manhattan speakeasy El Morocco with a North African flavour, plus acts Benoit Veillefon and his Orchestra and bellydancer Khalisha with her python Isis). It really is the closest thing you'll find to an authentic Jazz Age experience.
