Launched by Peter Cook in 1961, the original Establishment venue was as seminal a part of the satire boom as 'Beyond the Fringe' or 'TW3', which it helped to inspire. Thanks to the odd trio of Cook's widow Lin, Keith Allen and Victor Lewis-Smith, the club is now being revived. Allen hosts, the James Pearson Trio perform , 'punk poet' John Cooper Clarke delivers his biting verse and other guests include video artist Kim Noble and comedian and author Jane Bussman.
