‘Tis the season...oyster season! Now is the best time to try native UK oysters, so you can appreciate their flavour even more than usual. Take advantage of this by filling up on £1 oysters at The Seafood Bar during their brand-new happy hour. That’s right; £1 oysters. Yowza.

You’ll have the opportunity to try this Soho spot’s ethically sourced oysters from 3pm to 5pm everyday throughout April 2022. Enjoy a local variety, famous for their meatiness, right from River Blackwater in Essex. If you’re looking for something more exotic then there’s also a variety from Charente, France known for being salty and fruity. Ooh la la.

Not only are oysters extra-delicious at this time of year, but they’re also one of the most sustainable foods out there. Oysters have a very minimal ecological impact, and farming them can have a positive effect on their eco-system. According to ‘National Geographic’, oyster agriculture produces almost zero greenhouse gasses and even helps the wild population of oysters grow.

The Seafood Bar expertly shucks these oysters, great for you and some friends to share after work. Added bonus: oysters boost your immune system, improve brain function, and are great for your skin. Get involved.
