The O2’s biggest residency of 2026 is officially underway. Ariana Grande’s Eternal Sunshine Tour is at London’s biggest indoor music venue for a huge 10 nights, and the first few shows have already been full of surprises. Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo even came out for a surprise appearance on the second date, August 16.

Ariana’s 10 shows at the O2 aren’t just the only UK dates on the Eternal Sunshine Tour – they’re the tour’s only shows in Europe. Demand for the shows was so high that, when the initial five dates were revealed last September, another five were added during presale. All nights are officially sold out, though resale options are available. A huge 200,000 fans will have seen Grande by the time the run ends on September 1.

The Eternal Sunshine Tour is Ariana Grande’s first major run of shows since 2019’s Sweetener World Tour. It’s named after her seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine, but the London dates follow the release of her eighth record Petal in July.

The O2 bag policy and banned items

A strict bag policy is in place for Ariana Grande’s O2 shows – with a clear bag only policy.

Each ticketholder is allowed to bring in one clear bag or re-sealable clear freezer/zip-lock bag. It should be sized 30cm x 15cm x 30cm or smaller.

A ‘clear bag’ must be made out of clear plastic, vinyl or PVC, and it cannot have any tints, prints or patterns.

All belongings should be in the bag. Medical, accessibility, parent/child-care related bags will be permitted but checked by security.

Cameras and recording devices are banned, though mobile phones are allowed.

Ariana Grande London reviews

Time Out attended the show on August 19 and thought it was an imperfect but triumphant lap around the singer’s decorated career. Despite a convoluted and unnecessary storyline to the concert, Grande’s voice was as astounding as ever, her crystalline soprano more than keeping up over the exuberant roar of the crowd.

Ari’s London Eternal Sunshine Tour dates received universal acclaim from critics. The Times called it a ‘five-star show’ from ‘one of pop’s most extraordinary singers’, while the Telegraph also awarded full marks for a ‘cosmic journey through her psychological universe’.

A five-star write-up in NME said that Grande reminded the writer ‘of her showstopping vocals and well-honed performance skills’.

A four-star review in the Independent called the show ‘sombre’ and said it ‘felt like a goodbye’, while the Guardian’s critic awarded the same rating and said it was ‘a good testament to her 13-year pop career and worthy of being enjoyed’.
