We’re almost a month into the FIFA World Cup 2026, and it’s been a wild ride so far. Scottish fans charmed the entire city of Boston, underdogs Paraguay knocked out Germany on penalties, debutantes Cape Verde put up a truly heroic fight against European champions Spain and current holders Argentina, and at 3am on Monday morning, Jude Bellingham gave us two goals in less than two minutes en route to what many are calling England’s greatest win since 1966.

The 48 teams that started the tournament have been whittled down to just eight, and their fates will be decided over the next four days of quarter-finals. Most of London will, of course, be rooting for the Three Lions but being the gloriously diverse city it is, there’ll be spaces for fans of the seven other nations to cheer their teams on, too.

Whether you’re backing Morocco or France, Argentina or Switzerland, Spain, Belgium or Norway, here’s where each squad’s supporters will be gathering en masse for the next round of the World Cup.

RECOMMENDED: Where to watch the World Cup in London.

  • France v Morocco: July 9, 9pm BST
  • Spain v Belgium: July 10, 8pm BST
  • Norway v England: July 11, 10pm BST
  • Argentina v Switzerland: July 12, 2am BST

Best places to watch the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals for each team

France

Frogs in London is a French expat community that’s been organising events for the city’s Francophiles for the past 11 years. They’ve got screenings of ‘le foot’ down to a fine art, with no fewer than four different fan zones for Les Bleus around London. The largest of these is The Garden in Vauxhall, which has capacity for around 1,500, but they also run screenings at Soho cocktail bar Zebrano, the Ministry of Sound’s courtyard, and even a family-friendly screening at Aldgate pub The Minories

Morocco

Afcon champions Morocco are the final Arab team standing, so you’ll likely find its fans congregating at one of London’s various Middle Eastern hubs. The obvious place to go is Edgware Road where restaurants like Casablanca will be broadcasting every minute of the action. There’ll be a fanzone at Stratford halal steakhouse HS&Co and another at Egg London in King’s Cross hosted by north African events organisers Les Frontières. In the north of the city, book a table at Oasis Lounge in Finchley.

Spain

Bradley’s Spanish Bar on Tottenham Court Road is a bonafide institution. And, though it’s a squeeze, there’ll be few better places in central London to cheer on La Roja on Friday, fuelled by pintas of Alhambra, Mahou and Estrella. The match will also be on the big screens at tapas restaurant Camino’s three branches in King’s Cross, Monument and Shoreditch.

Belgium

Just on the outskirts of Chinatown, you’ll find London’s premiere Dutch joint. At De Hems Dutch Cafe Bar, the Belgian beer will be flowing and the Belgian tunes will be blasting as the Red Devils gear up to fight for a place in the semis. You’re best off reserving a table ahead of time but there will be some space kept free for walk-ins.

England

Well obviously, you’re going to be spoiled for choice. For outdoor screenings of the match on Saturday, our favourites include Flat Iron Square, German Kraft Brewery and the Queen of Hoxton or inside, book a spot somewhere like Clapham Grand, Bar Kick or Colour Factory. Norway

Don your horned helmet, warm up your muscles for the Viking row and head down to Fitzrovia’s Nordic Bar on Saturday to escape the England fans and be among the Norwegians for Saturday’s game. The subterranean venue on Newman Street has long been a gathering place for London’s Scandi and Nordic communities, whether it’s for Eurovision, ice hockey or Norway’s first World Cup appearance this century. Head down early to pre-game during happy hour (pre 6pm on Saturday) and keep occupied with its beer pong, retro garden and interactive darts board.

Argentina

Dozens of fans of the World Cup’s reigning champions will gather at Rae’s in Flat Iron Square to watch them take on Switzerland. The screening is being run by Argentinian party collective La Malafamera, which will pump the venue up with cumbia, reggaeton and RKT before kick off and after the final whistle blows. Tickets go quickly for this one so snap them up ASAP. Or with kick-off taking place at 2am, you might prefer a nightclub setting; if so, head to Viva Reggaeton’s watch party at Lightbox nightclub in Vauxhall.

Switzerland

The New Helvetic Society is the go-to for all things Swiss in London. It’ll be at the Greenwood Sports Pub in Victoria in the hopes of seeing the national team defy all odds and claim a victory over Argentina. Arrive dressed in red and you’ll get a sweet 15 percent off food and drink.
