Beauty and skincare fans, here’s something you all need to know about. Yep, all of you. Boots, one of the country’s biggest cosmetics chains, is opening a dazzling beauty-only store later this year in Battersea Power Station

The new outlet will be a massive beauty playground, offering something for everyone in a massive 11,200-square-foot space. There will also be a team of beauty specialists, dermatologists and skin-care pharmacists on the ground to provide customers with consultations and advice.

The store’s opening will feature several female-owned and UK-exclusive new beauty brands, which will be sold both on location and online. Included brands will be Grown Alchemist, Sol de Janeiro and Function of Beauty, alongside cult beauty products Kylie Cosmetics and Drunk Elephant.

Paul Niezawitowski, the beauty director at Boots, said: ‘Our new Beauty showcase solidifies Boots’ position as the UK’s number one beauty destination and marks the latest innovation under our ongoing beauty reinvention programme.

‘Boots continues to invest in providing a market-leading beauty shopping experience and this new beauty-only concept not only allows customers to be the very first to try new brands and products but also provides a platform to launch new services that we know our customers will love.’

All this comes after Boots announced the closure of a number of UK stores (see the full list of Boots closures in the UK here), with the brand instead opting instead to revamp 170 of its UK shops. The exact opening date of the new beauty-only Boots in Battersea Power Station hasn’t yet been announced, so watch this space for updates.
