Crosstown has just opened an entirely vegan doughnut shop

There’s not a stick of butter in sight at Crosstown in Marylebone – this branch of the doughnut shop (which opened on Monday March 19) is FULLY vegan.

The menu features intriguing-sounding flavours, like a pink beetroot doughnut with crumbed pistachios and a blood orange glaze, and a spirulina doughnut with coconut custard and a lime glaze.

Don’t prepare for a sit-down doughnut meal, though, because there are only three bar seats and two outdoor tables with two seats at this tiny store. But you can grab a coffee (£1.50 for the next two weeks) and an animal-free treat to take away instead.

It’s just dough good to be vegan right now.

Crosstown Marylebone is at 5-6 Picton Place, W1U 1BL. It’s open from 9am-6pm on weekdays and 10am-6.30pm on weekends.

Here’s our pick of London’s top five doughnuts, because we’ve got you in the mood.
