Put your money away! Here are the week’s best free events

‘Lynnie Z Studio’

Just try not to send your balls flying at the pictures, yeah? The Book Club. Tube: Old St. Thu Nov 8-Feb 17 2019.

Tate & Lyle cupcakes

To celebrate 140 sweet years, Tate & Lyle is unveiling a 15-tier cake with loads of different flavours from Battenberg to rainbow. There are also futuristic cupcakes up for grabs, so get ready for a sugar high. King's Cross. Tube: King’s Cross. Thu Nov 8, 7.30am-9.30am.

Chill out at this ASMR-inspired pop-up which promises to stimulate your senses in all the right ways. With head massages, relaxing sounds and a lavender mist you’ll definitely leave feeling zen. Noho Studios. Tube: Oxford Circus. Fri Nov 9-Sat Nov 10. Get tickets here.

Ichibuns burger giveaway

Japanese joint Ichibuns is marking its first year by dishing up 365 free burgers. Choose between a wagyu beef version or a tempura vegetable patty. Thanks, we will! Ichibuns. Tube: Piccadilly Circus. Wed Nov 7, from 5pm.

A Mindful Mess Festival

This three-day event aims to explore mental health and celebrate ‘neurodiversity’ (ie the differences in our brains). Expect Brainfart Cabaret, live music and poetry, and self-care workshops. Thought-provoking stuff. Poplar Union. Tube: Mile End. Fri Nov 9-Sun Nov 11.
